Wilma Pfennig, 94, died Sunday February 7, 2021 at her home.  Funeral services will be on Friday 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. John's Lutheran Church of McClusky.  Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 12:00 noon until service time.  Burial will be in the McClusky City Cemetery.

Wilma was born on December 12, 1926 north of Hazen, ND.  She was the daughter of Otto and Lydia (Kraft) Wiedrich.  Wilma grew up and attended school north of Hazen.  She married Erwin Pfennig on January 21, 1945 at the Emanuel Lutheran Church north of Hazen.  They lived and farmed in the Hazen area.  In 1956 they moved to a farm south of Pickardville.   They moved into McClusky in 2003 and then moved in the Sheridan Memorial Home in June 2017.  Wilma was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church of McClusky and the McClusky Senior Citizen's.  Wilma enjoyed playing pinochle, crocheting, and embroidering.

Wilma is survived by her husband, Erwin of McClusky; children, Darvin (Barb) Pfennig, McClusky, Dallas (Connie) Pfennig, McClusky, Myron (Nancy) Pfennig, McClusky, Virgil (Cindy) Pfennig, Brookings, SD, Linda (Rodger) Gill, Bismarck, Beatrice  (Calvin) Gill, Mobridge, SD; four grandchildren, Miranda Howe, Travis Pfennig, Randy Gill, and Brittany Petrik; six, great-grandchildren, Hunter, Gabriel, Mike Gill, Sully, Naomi, and Scott Pfennig; Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Laura Wiedrich.  In Lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.  Arrangements with Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky, ND.
