Victor Wagner, 74, of Harvey died Friday December 24, 2010 at his home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010 at the Manfred Seventh-day Adventist Church, Manfred, ND. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.

Victor was born on November 15, 1936 on the family farm southwest of Manfred, ND. He was the son of John C. and Lena (Kreiter) Wagner. He grew up on the family farm and attended the Eigenheim County School #5. As a young man he helped on the family farm and worked in mines in Montana. He returned to North Dakota and helped build buildings in southeastern and central North Dakota. He resumed farming southwest of Manfred in the early 1960's and retired from farming in 2006. He enjoyed auto racing and watching football on television. He was once married to Alice Boyd and later to Janet Ziegler.

Victor is survived by two sons, Harvey (Debbie) Taylor; Leslie Taylor, both of Jerome, Idaho; four daughters Debbie Blowers, Minot; Brenda (Gary) Richter, Bismarck; Paula (Kenny) Selensky, Harvey, Melissa(Ramiro)Nunez, Lincoln, ND; seven grandchildren, Tricia (Steven) Towne, Devin and Leah Blowers, Matthew Richter, Emma Selensky, Riley and Remi Nunez; two great-grandchildren, William and Braxton Towne; three sisters, Darlene (Ervin) Buchwitz, Carrington, Ruby Wetzel, Bismarck, Ardella (James) Short, North Las Vegas, NV; sister-in-law Agnes Wagner, Bismarck; brother-in-law Arthur Fischer, Harvey and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Victor was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lawrence, sisters Esther (Roy) Miller; Elnora (Arthur) Treft and Ruth Fischer.
