Victor Thomas 79 of Harvey died Monday July 16, 2018 at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at the St. Anthony Catholic Church of Selz on Friday July 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Victor was born on May 13, 1939 on the family farm near Wellsburg, ND.  He was the son of Sebastian and Katherine (Welk) Thomas.  Victor grew up and attended school near Wellsburg.  He then farmed with his father and brother Delanis.  They farmed together until retiring in 2009.  Victor was part owner of the MBC Bar in Maddock for a time.  Victor served on the East Fork Township Board for over 40 years.  Victor enjoyed bowling in Esmond and Maddock.  He also enjoyed visiting with people.

Victor is survived by his brother, Delanis of Harvey; sisters, LuElla Heilman of Rapid City, SD, Lenora Thomas of Andover, MN, Helen Schmid of Oberon, ND; several nieces and nephews.  Victor was preceded in death by his parents; brother, August; sister, Ann Gumeringer; nephew, Jason Thomas.
