Vera Wade Triebwasser 92 of Bismarck formerly of McClusky died Friday June 5, 2015 at the Elm Crest Manor Care Center in New Salem, ND.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 12 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Bismarck with Pastor Odea Sigh, Jr. officiating.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday June 11 at Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be at 3 p.m. in the McClusky City Cemetery.
Vera was born August 12, 1922 on the family farm in the Lincoln Valley area north of Denhoff, ND to Jacob and Pauline (Wageman) Suelzle. She attended country school in Lincoln Valley. The family moved to a farm south of Drake in 1934 and in 1939 moved east of McClusky. Vera married Leo Triebwasser on January 27, 1942 in McClusky. They purchased his parents farm and lived there for 59 years. They moved to Bismarck in 2001. Leo died on November 5, 2006. Vera enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and quilting.
Vera is survived by four daughters, Paulette (Stanley) Reiswig, Sandra (Robert) Mills and Tina Triebwasser all of Bismarck, Monica (Floyd) Bradford of Guthrie, OK; two sons, Lawrence (Mary) Triebwasser of Lucedale, MS, Delvin (Karen) Triebwasser of Clifton, CO; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Triebwasser of Harvey; Francis Engel of Maynard, AR; daughter-in-law, Janice Triebwasser, Brighton, TN.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three children, Cordell, Nina and Paul; brothers, Harry, Herbert and Wilbert Suelzle and Phillip Warner; sisters, Marcella Gillig, Laree Schneider, Martha Wageman, Clara McCoy and Pearl Krenz; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
