Todd Allen Sorenson, 56, Minot formerly of Underwood and Harvey, ND died on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Trinity Homes, Minot, ND with his daughter by his side.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11 at First Lutheran Church, Harvey, ND.  Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND.  Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.

Todd was born on February 25, 1964 in Northwood, ND to Glenn Sig Sorenson and Victoria Sorenson (Marquart). He spent a majority of his childhood in Harvey before moving to Underwood in 1981. In August of 1982, at the age of 17, Todd enlisted with the Army National Guard. In January of 1988, his contract ended. He worked various jobs before meeting Tammy Ortmann in 1992. Todd helped father her two young children Steven and Cassandra, before having two of his own.  On February 15, 1996, they welcomed their first child together, Britney. On July 8, 1998, they welcomed their second child, Trevor.  In 2002, Todd and Tammy divorced. He moved back to Underwood to continue his contract work at Great River Energy and help care for his father for the next several years. Todd left his job in February 2018 as he became ill. He continued living in Underwood, under the care of his brothers, before moving to Minot to live with his children in November of 2019. His children cared for him for the next several months. In March of 2020, he moved into Trinity Nursing Home. Some of Todd's favorite hobbies included hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his two children, family, friends, and his two lifelong friends, Mike Krantz and Todd Reiser.  Todd is survived by his children: Britney (Dylan) Ford and Trevor Sorenson; siblings, Dale (Lori) Sorenson, Jeff Sorenson, Scott Sorenson; nieces/nephews, Steven Sorenson, Shayla Sorenson, Rochelle Sorenson, Renae SorensonNumerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Todd was preceded in death by his parents Glenn Sig Sorenson and Victoria Sorenson (Marquart); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Todd's two children, Britney and Trevor, would like to send a special thank you to the Trinity Nursing Home of Minot for providing amazing care to their father.
