Todd Allen Roth, 62 passed away unexpectedly in his childhood home in McClusky, ND on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Todd was born July 11, 1961, in Turtle Lake, ND, the middle child born to Stanley and Pauline (Blumhagen) Roth.  Todd grew up on the farm just south of McClusky until moving into town in 1971. Todd attended school in McClusky and later received his diploma from the State Industrial School. From there Todd attended NDSSS in Wahpeton and received a certificate as a machinist and in upholstery. Todd traveled coast to coast working many jobs including an iron worker, millwright, and welder. He most recently was working as a steel siding installer.

Todd was always a bit of a mischievous child and had a bit of a wild side, from climbing the windmill on the farm (with or without the steps) and yelling from the top or placing his siblings in the dryer and watching them go round and round. Todd always found a way to keep everyone on their toes and to keep life interesting.

Todd loved his family and prior to having children of his own he enjoyed spoiling his nieces and nephews and enjoyed staying up late playing video games till the wee hours of the morning, or bringing silly string for a war. Todd and Benny enjoyed playing arcade games, darts, and playing BINGO. They also liked to sit back and enjoy a nice cold red beer.  Todd was a treasure hunter. He enjoyed collecting a little of this and a little of that. Todd had a love for concerts and traveled to many. The Rolling Stones was a favorite and he saw them 3 times.

In later years, Todd had more than his share of demons he has battled and fought with for many years, but his fight is now over and he can finally rest in peace in paradise with family and friends.

Todd is survived by his 2 children Jill and Benjamin Roth, his siblings Brad Roth and  Kate and Dennis Bertsch; nephews and nieces Josh, Amber, April and Spencer; great nieces and great nephews; and numerous aunts and uncles.

There to welcome Todd to his forever home are his parents and grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
