Terry Weltz, 59, Lincoln, ND formerly of the Anamoose area died Wednesday, February 13, 2019 in his home.

Funeral services will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Tuesday February 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

Interment will be in the spring at St. Martin Lutheran Cemetery, Anamoose, ND.

Terry was born on December 14, 1959 in Harvey.  He was the son of Ervin and Cherraine (Pellett) Weltz.   He grew up on the family farm south of Anamoose and graduated from the Anamoose High School.

Terry worked many years installing garage doors for a company in Bismarck, until he started his own construction company named Weltz Construction.  Terry loved the outdoors.  He loved to hunt and fish.  He was in many fishing tournaments over the years and was quite the fisherman.  He was once married to Robin Thomssen.

Terry is survived by his mother, Cherraine Weltz of Harvey; two sisters, Roxanne (Marlin) Larson of Stanton, ND, and Cynthia Purtell of Rapid City; nieces Tina and Christy; nephews Myles and David.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother-in-law, Mike Purtell.
