Terry Hager, 64 of Selz, ND died Tuesday January 16, 2017 from cancer at his daughter's home in Bismarck.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the St. Cecilia Catholic Cemetery, Harvey.

Terry was born on January 10, 1954 in Harvey, ND.  He was one of ten children born to Pius and Elizabeth (Hoffert) Hager.  Terry grew up in Harvey and attended St. Cecilia Catholic School and the Harvey Public School.  Following school, Terry worked for Border States Paving for approximately 37 years.  Terry was once married to Gail Light. Terry enjoyed spending time with his daughter and grandchildren.  Miranda recalls her dad letting her pick out treats at the local gas station when she was a child or driving to Minot or Bismarck to visit her.    He also taught her to drive and would tell her to, "Drive her speed."  Terry enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, snowmobiling and loved to watch football. He grew up to and continued listening to classic rock and would recall the songs and the artists.  He had lived in Selz for the last several years and was recently diagnosed with cancer.  Miranda took care of him at her home until his death.

Terry is survived by his daughter, Miranda Hager (Spencer Atkinson) of Bismarck; two grandchildren, Scarlett and LeRoy Atkinson; sister, Darlene Iverson of California; brothers, Harold Hager of Arizona, Rodney Hager of Anamoose and his girlfriend and companion of the past seven years, Raenette Tewes of Harvey.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dennis, Virgil, Alquin, Bernie, and Jerome; sister, Sally.
