Susan Dressen, 52 of Minnewaukan, ND formerly of Esmond and Harvey, died Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in a Grand Forks Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Free Lutheran Church of Minnewaukan.

Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Friday September 13, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery of Harvey.

Susan was born on March 23, 1967 in Harvey. She was the daughter of Lloyd and Karen (Hoffer) Bredine. She grew up and attended school in Harvey and graduated from Harvey High School in 1985. She then worked at the Farmers Union Oil Company in Harvey. She sold Avon and Mary Kay Cosmetics for many years. Susan also worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant and a Med Tec Aid in the communities of Harvey, Rugby, Maddock, Devils Lake, and New Rockford. Susan was once married to Don Rieger. They had three children, Andrew, Stephanie, and Brandon. Susan married Floyd Dressen on September 8, 2007 in Minnewauken. Susan enjoyed gardening, playing music, singing, reading, shopping, and going to family gatherings. Susan was a member of the Trinity Free Lutheran Church of Minnewaukan.

Susan is survived by her husband, Floyd Dressen of Minnewauken; children, Andrew Rieger of Esmond, Stephanie (Jordan) Grossman of New Rockford; two grandchildren, Kylie and Kroy Grossman; father and stepmother, Lloyd and Connie Bredine of Towner; brother, Lynn Bredine of Harvey.

Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Karen; son, Brandon.
