Sharon Lorraine Ferm, 69, Harvey formerly of McClusky died on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the St. Aloisius Medical Center in Harvey.

Sharon was born on July 20, 1943 in rural McClusky, ND to Herbert and Margaret (Marchant) Hoffman. She attended grade school in rural Sheridan county and high school in Wing and McClusky. She moved to Bismarck in 1959 and worked for A.W. Lucas for several years. She was married to Jim Benedict October 20th, 1962 and later to Gordon Ferm.

In 1964 she moved back to McClusky and worked at various jobs including the Green Acres café and the HiWay café. She lived in Goodrich for a short time and later moved to Harvey, ND. Sharon enjoyed arts and crafts and had a very artistic hand. She loved staying in touch with her friends and family
on facebook. Spending time with family was very important to her.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Marcia Sivertson of Lincoln, ND, two sons, Curtis Benedict of Bismarck and Todd Benedict of Hope, ND; brothers, Harold Hoffman of Bismarck and Roy Hoffman of McClusky. Many grandchildren,
nieces and nephews and her friend Clayton.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her son Roy Benedict, and her sister Carol, Mrs. Wayne Wrangham.

Services will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home in Harvey, ND at 10:30am Saturday, April 20th.
