Scott Muscha, 54, of Selz, ND died Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey.  Funeral services will be held at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey on Friday August 7, 2020 at 10:30 a.m.  Visitation will be held at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Prayer Services following at 7 p.m. in the church. CDC recommendations including social distancing, hand cleansing, wearing masks, and staying away if not feeling well are strongly encouraged. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Scott was born on September 12, 1965 in Harvey. He was the son of Kenneth and Janice (Faul) Muscha.  Scott grew up on the family farm northeast of Harvey.  He attended Harvey Public School and graduated from Harvey High School in 1983.  Scott then attended college in Wahpeton for two years where he studied diesel mechanics.  He returned to Harvey and farmed with his father and brother.  He also worked at the Rocking M Livestock Yard and at Helm Flying both of Harvey. Scott married Heidi Rudnick on May 25, 1991 in Harvey. Scott started Muscha Trucking in 2000.  He then expanded into Muscha Custom Services, where he did custom seeding and harvesting.

When Scott was younger he enjoyed fishing, bowling, hunting, playing cards, but most of all he enjoyed working on the farm and working on his machinery.  Scott was a member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Harvey.

Scott is survived by his wife, Heidi of Selz; sons, Brett and Thomas Muscha both of Grand Forks, father; Kenneth and his wife, Bonnie of Harvey; brother, Kelly (Karen) of Harvey; sisters, Brenda Muscha of Bismarck, Lesa (Dan) Crowley of Bismarck, Shelly (Jim) Sheetz of Mandan.  Scott was preceded in death by his mother; Janice; sister; Cindy Muscha; and infant child.  Share online at www.hertzfuneralhomes.com
