Scott T. Hansen 46 of Harvey died Thursday September 20, 2018 at the Trinity Hospital of Minot.

Funeral services will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Friday September 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Scott was born on October 13, 1971 in Sidney, Montana.  He was the son of Jack and Patricia (Doyle) Hansen.  Scott grew up and attended school in Williston, Hettinger, Zap, before moving to Harvey in 1986.   Following graduation he moved to Virginia for a time before he returned to Minot where he worked security for Minot State University.  Scott then entered the North Dakota National Guard and then the Marines. He returned to Harvey in 2012.

Scott is survived by his mother, Patricia Amundson and her husband, Norm Amundson of Harvey; brothers, Paul Hansen of Fergus Falls, MN and Travis Amundson of Harvey.  Scott was preceded in death by his father, Jack Hansen.
