Sandra Lee Jones, 74 , Rugby formerly of Bowdon died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey.

Graveside Services will be held at a later date at the Bowdon Wayside Cemetery, Bowdon, ND.

Sandra was born August 26, 1937 in Bowdon, ND. She was the daughter of Harris and Adella (Knodel) Jones. She grew up in Bowdon and graduated from the Fargo Central High School in 1955. She was once married to Donald Danner and they had a son, Ritchie. Sandra received her Associate Degree from the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her second marriage was to David Pieterick in Rugby and they had a daughter, Taryn. Sandra was a LPN in Seattle, Washington, Eugene, Oregon and was a traveling nurse in Yuma, Arizona. She moved to Rugby several years ago. She loved reading and scrapbooking. Sandra suffered for many years with rheumatoid arthritis and kept up with the most current information and treatment.

Sandra is survived by her son, Ritchie Danner of Las Vegas, Nevada and a daughter, Taryn Pieterick Lamberson of Rugby, North Dakota; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Jones, Rapid City, South Dakota. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents.
