Sandra Haux, 69 of Chaseley, ND died Monday June 8, 2015 at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey.

Funeral services will be Saturday June 13, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Chaseley.

Visitation will be Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.

Burial will be in Chaseley Cemetery, Chaseley, ND.

Sandra was born on September 3, 1945 in Harvey. She was the daughter of Alfred and Olga (Spier) Adam. Sandra grew up and attended school in Goodrich and graduated from Goodrich High School. Sandra married Darvin Haux on January 25, 1963 in Hurdsfield. They lived and farmed northwest of Chaseley where she took an active part in the daily farming operation.

Sandra was a member of the United Methodist Church of Chaseley and a former active member of the Hurdsfield Nazarene church. She served as the Delzler Township clerk and treasurer for many years.

Sandra enjoyed gardening, cooking German foods, baking, making ceramics, quilting, reading, listening to gospel music, and watching birds and wildlife.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Darvin of Chaseley; son, Darrin Haux of Harvey; grandchildren, Cody Haux of Casselton, Kimberly Haux of Bismarck; two great-grandchildren, Ava Haux and Holden Haux; brothers, Alfred Adam Jr. of Andover, Massachusetts; Tony Rothacker of Bismarck; sister, Shari Myers of Elk City, Ok.; and close friend, Lynda Roller of Chaseley; several nieces and nephews.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son; infant sister, Connie.
