Rose T. Faul, 94, Harvey, ND died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home, Harvey, ND. Funeral services will be held at the Mennonite Brethren Church of Harvey on Friday October 21, 2011 at 10:30 am. Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Thursday October 20, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Sunnyside Cemetery of Harvey.

Rose was born on December 25, 1916 in Goodrich, North Dakota. She was the daughter of Adam and Rosie (Opp) Gramm. Rose grew up and attended school in Goodrich and graduated from Goodrich High School in 1935. Rose was baptized in 1932 and joined the Mennonite Brethren Church. Rose worked for the Sheridan County ASCS office from 1935 through 1937. On October 12, 1937 Rose married Tony C. Faul at the Country Mennonite Church of rural Harvey. They started farming south of Martin. In 1941 they bought a farm 12 miles south of Harvey. They moved to Harvey on 1955 and owned and operated the Jack and Jill Grocery Store until selling it in 1958. In 1971 they moved to a farm on the north side of Harvey in Wells Township. They moved back into Harvey in 1982. Rose also worked as a secretary at a local implement dealership from 1962-1967. Tony died on May 17, 2000. Rose was a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church of Harvey.

Rose is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Marilyn Faul of Harvey; daughters and sons-in-law, Mavis and Myron Thompson and Ardith and Allen Rauser all of Harvey; sister, Lydia Bich of Tucson, Arizona; six grandchildren, Doug (Michelle) Faul, Jodi (Mike) Goldade, Melissa (Galen) Vollmer, Melinda (Kurt) Landis, Angela (Kevin) Bonness, Alicia (Stephen) Miracle; 10 great-grandchildren;

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tony.
