Rosalyn Mae Seltvedt, 63, Mandan formerly of Harvey passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, ND.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 22 at Trinity Bethany Lutheran Church, Harvey, ND.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.
Rosalyn was born on June 12, 1948 at Harvey, ND. She was the daughter of Andrew and Annabelle (Vincent) Seltvedt. She grew up on the family farm west of Harvey and continue to live there. In 1989 Rosalyn began working at HAV-IT on quality control projects and on janitorial crews. She moved to the HAV-IT's North Street group home in 2000 and continued to be involved with HAV-IT's programs and activities. She moved to Mandan in October 2008 for health reasons and lived at the Enable Group Home there.
Rosalyn was a member of Trinity Bethany Lutheran Church. Rosalyn enjoyed visiting with friends and family. She also loved to shop, travel and go on vacations. One of her hobbies was collecting porcelain dolls.
Rosalyn is survived by four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Leland of Bay City, Michigan, Lowell (Kathy) of Black Hawk, South Dakota, David (Joann) of Harvey, Kenneth (Michelle) of Harvey; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Irene (Steve) Yost of Dickinson, Gloria Seltvedt of Harvey, Kristi Janssen of Vashon, WA; 13 nieces and nephews; 7 great nieces and nephews.
Rosalyn was preceded in death by her father, Andrew on September 21, 1965 and her mother, Annabelle on March 24, 2008.
