Ronda Patzer, 60, Harvey, ND died Sunday, August 13, 2023, unexpectedly at her home in Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Harvey on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 10:30 a.m.  Visitation will be held at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Harvey on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.  Prayer services will be held at the church at 6:00 p.m.

Burial will be in the St. Cecilia Catholic Cemetery of Harvey.

Ronda Jean was born on March 22, 1963, in Rugby, ND.   She was the daughter of Anton and Angeline (Hoffarth) Schneider. Ronda grew up and attended grade school in Selz and then attended Harvey High School.   She then began working for the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey where she worked over 40 years in the house keeping department.  Ronda married Brian Patzer on September 30, 1983, in Selz.  Ronda was a member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey.  Ronda took great pride in her flowers and enjoyed gardening, canning, and cooking German food. Her specialty was her German vegetable soup and soup meat that everyone loved.  She always made sure she had hot pickles and pickled watermelon for Austin, as they were his absolute favorites.  Brian and Ronda did almost everything together and especially enjoyed taking the Mustangs for a drive with the Wells County Cruisers.  Ronda would find do it yourself projects on Pinetrest for Brian to tackle and he usually always made it happen for her. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Ronda is survived by her husband, Brian Patzer of Harvey; son, Jeremy (Becca) Patzer of Harvey; Angie Schneider and (Vaughn Wittmayer) of Willow City, ND; 4 grandchildren, Austin Schneider, Conner Schmidt, Brynleigh Schneider-Lunde, Remy Patzer; brother, Wayne (Marcia) Schneider, sisters, Jorinda Tripanier, Eileen (Pius) Axtman, Roxane (Roger) Jahn.  Ronda was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Vivian Schneider who was one year old and Cynthia Rieger; her in-laws, Otto and Edith Patzer; brothers-in-law, Ronald Rieger, Keith Patzer, and Bob Tripanier.
