Ronald Tavonatti, 81, Harvey, ND passed away peacefully with his wife at his side on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his home in Harvey.  No services are being planned at this time due to the pandemic.

Ron was born on August 31, 1939 at Iron Mountain, MI.  He was the son of Felix and Leona (Perron) Tavonatti.  He grew up in Iron Mountain and graduated from high school there.  He was a carpenter millwright by trade in Detroit, MI and had his own carpenter business in Colorado.  He also drove truck for several years.  Ron owned and operated The Right Place Bar in Harvey.  Ron married Linda Shwatal on October 31, 1992 in Harvey.  He sold the bar in 2013 and worked for the Harvey Park Board for several years.

Ron is survived by his wife, Linda of Harvey; daughter, Vicky Tavonatti of Iron Mountain, MI; stepson Douglas Plourde of Kingsford, MI.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Sheila.
