Roger Strobel, 83, rural Denhoff, ND died Friday, April 8, 2022 on the family farm.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2022 at the First Baptist Church, Goodrich, ND with burial in the Goodrich City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 17 at the Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND.

Roger was born on January 19, 1939 in Hellman Township north of Denhoff, ND to Gottlieb and Sophie (Pfeifer) Strobel. He grew up on the family farm north of Denhoff and attended school in Denhoff.  He farmed and ranched with his father and brother.  Roger married Julieann Triebwasser on June 5, 1965 at the First Baptist Church in Goodrich. Three children were born to this union, Leslie, Rodney and Shelly.  In 1983 he went on his own and continued farming with his sons until his passing.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survived by his wife; sons, Leslie (Tylea) and Rodney, Denhoff; three grandchildren, Evan Pegors, Hannah Chamberlain, Kaylynn Chamberlain; sisters, Maxine Strobel of West Fargo and Druscilla Strobel of Brea, Ohio; son-in-law, Randy Pegors.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Shelly Pegors; brother Ron; sister Colleen Loverude.
