Robert Volk, 58, Harvey died Friday, December 10, 2021 near Selz, ND.  Joint funeral services for Robert and his father Daniel will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey, ND.  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday December 17 at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Harvey, ND.  Prayer services will be at the church at 7 p.m. on December 17.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Robert was born on October 26, 1963 in Harvey, ND. He was the son of Daniel and Alice (Fettig) Volk. He grew up on the family farm north of Harvey. Robert attended public school in Harvey and graduated high school in 1982. He attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton for two years then returned to Harvey to farm with his father. Robert married Marie Montaniel on June 1, 1985 in Harvey, ND.  In addition to his own farming, Robert sold hay both locally and commercially as well as helping fellow area farmers when called upon. His hobbies included, fishing, hunting, trapping, drag racing, attending Bison games, traveling with family and friends, spending time with his grandkids and he thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his dad.

Robert is survived by his wife, Marie of Harvey; three daughters, Tina Bonnet (fiancé Joe Weninger), Kendra (Cody) Marquart; Shelby (Wade) Vetter; four grandchildren, Kohen, Fin, Otto, Willa; sister, JoAnn (Corey) Flick, nephews, Levi (Kelsey) Flick, Mitchel (Gabrielle) Flick, Andrew (Devan) Flick; brother, WA Volk; numerous uncles and aunts.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Alice and brother, Richard.
