Richard Weinmann, 77, of Harvey, ND died Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey. Funeral services will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church of Harvey on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. CDC recommendations including distancing, hand cleansing, limiting your time spent at the funeral home and staying away if sick will be followed for the visitation. Wearing of a mask to protect yourself and others is also recommended by the CDC and would be greatly appreciated. The funeral will be livestreamed on a YouTube accessed from Harvey Faith Lutheran Church Web Site.
Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey.
Richard was born on May 3, 1943 in Harvey. He was the son of Francis and Elizabeth (Bosch) Weinmann. Richard grew up and attended school in Harvey. As a young man he worked on the family farm. He married Helen Swanson on November 2, 1973 in Fessenden. Richard worked for the North Dakota Highway Department; Blaine Mack Sales, and the Farmers Union in Harvey. He retired in 1984.
Richard was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church and Wells Eagles Aerie 3080 both of Harvey. He enjoyed playing cards, deer hunting and mowing his grass.
Richard is survived by his wife, Helen of Harvey; step children, Alan (Jane) Swanson of Harvey, Diana (Doyle) Roe of Burlington, Robert (Bonnie) Swanson of Harvey, Dorothy (Terry) Anderson of Harvey; 11 step grandchildren; 15 step greatgrandchildren; 1 step great-great-grandchild; sister, Christina Gross of Georgia; brother, Florian Weinmann of Devils Lake, ND.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lucille Sinclair.
