Raymond Kollmar, 63, Harvey, ND died Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey.  A celebration of his life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023 at Krafty's Bar and Grill in Harvey.

Raymond Carl Kollmar was born on June 17, 1960, in Grants Pass, Oregon to Floyd and Colleen (McNabb) Kollmar.  He lived his early childhood in California before the family moved to Washington and Oregon where he attended school.  He was living in White Salmon, Washington when he married Brendolyn Stanton on May 20, 1987.  They lived in White Salmon where Raymond worked for 20 years at the Fruit Valley Greenhouse.  This job was followed by working at Chisom Saw Shop for another five years.  The family moved to Harvey in 2011.  Raymond began working at the flour mill in Harvey which is currently operated by Ardent Mills of Harvey.

Raymond's experience working in a greenhouse allowed him to develop numerous hobbies.  He was an avid berry and mushroom gatherer out west and gardener.  He was adventurous and at times a bit rebellious in his younger years.  He made many friends over his lifetime including at the flour mill in Harvey.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Brendolyn of Harvey; sons, Jeremy Kollmar of Harvey and Kit Skaar of Selz, ND; two grandchildren; numerous siblings including a sister Denise Hamilton of Arkansas and many friends.  Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert Kollmar.
