Randolph Wilson Adams was born on April 27, 1946 in Hudson, MI to Helen (O'Connor) and Jacob Wilson Adams.  He grew up in Wayne, MI and graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1964.  He enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed at the U-Tapao Air Base in Thailand during the Viet Nam Conflict.  His active service lasted over three years and was in the Air Force Reserves for another three years.  He met the love of his life Ann Gerow in 1970 in Flint, MI and they were married on February 27, 1971 in Flint.  They were 17 days shy of celebrating 50 years of marriage. They had two children.  Laura and Jacob.  He reenlisted in the Air Force and the family moved to Marquette, MI where he was stationed at the K I Sawyer Air Base.  In 1973 he and his family moved to Trunkelsberg, Germany where he served at the Memmingen Air Base.  Several years later they moved to Copper Harbor, MI where he served at the Calumet, MI Air Force Radar base.  The family stayed in Copper Harbor while Randy served one year at an air base in Mindanao, Philippines.  Upon his return he relocated his family to Minot where he was stationed at the Minot Air Force Base.  He fell in love with western North Dakota, especially the White Earth Valley, and decided he would raise his family and spend the rest of his life there. After his honorable discharge he and Ann opened Subs Unlimited in Minot.  They sold the business in 1985 and moved to Ray, ND where they owned and operated Parkway Lounge and Café.  Randy then was an over the road trucker until moving to Harvey in 2011.  Randy couldn't sit still and so he took on a job driving taxi for the railroad until his death.  He and Ann split their retirement between their home in Harvey and their lake house on Devils Lake.

When Randy wasn't driving truck, you would find him on the golf course or out on the lake fishing. He loved teaching his kids and grandkids how to both golf and fish. After all, his family was his world.  He was a sports fan of anything Michigan.

Randy was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and the Knights Of Columbus Council in Harvey.
