Burial in the McClusky City Cemetery.
Ralph was born on March 19, 1916 in Sheridan County to Earl and Ada (Blanchard) Sease. He and his siblings grew up on the farm northwest of McClusky. As a young man he served in the Civilian Conservation Corps in the Mohall area. Ralph married Lois Bruss on December 22, 1938. They lived northwest of McClusky. He also worked on the Sheridan County Road Crew and at Caterpillar and Kirschman Manufacturing both of Bismarck. He also farmed for many years with his son, Bruce.
Ralph had an inventive mind. In the 1940's he and his brother designed a buck rake attached to a Model A Ford car thus eliminating the need for horses. He put airplane tires on the Model A so he could drive over snowbanks. He also made many improvements on his machinery and was still welding in his shop in his 90's.
Ralph and Lois moved into McClusky in January 2011. He broke his hip in October 2013 and was admitted to the Turtle Lake Hospital swing bed.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 75 years, Lois of McClusky; sons, Bruce (Elaine) Sease of McClusky, Dale (Marjean) Sease of Hebron, daughter, Ann (Maurice) Olstad of Monticello, MN; daughter-in-law, Violet Sease of Hebron; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandsons; sister, Shirley (Elmer) Fandrich of Bismarck; nieces and nephews.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; son, Charles; sisters, Irene Krueger and Nida (Glen) Lasher; brothers, Lowell (Cleaice) and Raymond (Mae); grandson, Douglas Olstad.Visits: 0
