Ralph Andrew Melton, 50, Anamoose, ND died Saturday, May 13, 2023 south of Martin, ND.

Ralph Andrew Melton was born on August 17, 1972 in Savanah, Georgia to Randall and Gail (Mims) Melton. He grew up in Jemison, Alabama and went to school in Isabella, Alabama and graduated from high school there. Andrew worked with his father as a carpenter for several years before venturing out on his own. He moved to ND in 2011 and worked as a carpenter. Andrew married Elizabeth Kidd on December 11, 2015 in Fessenden, ND. They lived in Anamoose. He continued being a carpenter working on numerous area projects including the restoration of 1909 Steak House building in Anamoose.

He was a current member of the Anamoose Fire Department and former member of the Harvey Fire and Rescue Department and Harvey Ambulance where he served as an EMT and driver.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth of Anamoose; daughter, Savana Rasberry and son, Scott Melton both of Clanton, AL; grandson, Chandler Rasberry; mother, Gail Melton of Jemison, AL; brother, Marshall Melton of Clanton, AL; step-daughters, Felicia Hendricks of Anamoose, Leah Hendricks and Shannon Goins both of Florida.

Ralph was preceded in death by his father and a sister Abigail Smith.
