Ralph Martin, 77, Harvey died on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey.  Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 at the Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.  Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND.   Burial will be in the spring at the Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.

Ralph was born on April 8, 1944 in Harvey, ND to Ereth and Adeline (Dietrich) Martin.  He grew up on the family farm south of Harvey. He attended rural school and high school in Harvey.  He started farming with his father and did so for many years.  He retired and continued to live on the farm until 2014 when he moved to Harvey.

His hobbies included roller skating in Harvey and New Rockford and hunting.

Ralph is survived by three sisters, Genevieve Indreland of Stevensville, MT, Carol (Edwin) Glenn of Seattle, WA; Fay Martin of Fessenden; nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ereth and Adeline (Dietrich) Martin; brother-in-law, Kermit "Chuck" Indreland.
