Phillip Faul 74 of Harvey died Monday April 9, 2012 at the St. Aloisius Hospital of Harvey. Funeral services will be held at the First Lutheran Church of Harvey on Friday April 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Sunnyside Cemetery of Harvey.
Phillip was born on October 26, 1937 in Harvey. He was the son of John Jr. and Katie (Wagner) Faul. He grew up and attended school south of Harvey. As a young man he worked for Bentz Implement and Schroeder Produce both of Harvey. He then went to work for Porter Brothers in Minot. Phillip married Bonnie Haugen on February 7, 1964 in Washburn, North Dakota. They moved to Harvey where Phillip began working for the City of Harvey and later for Susag Sand and Gravel until retiring in 2005 due to health reasons.
Phillip enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, gardening, playing cards, bingo and a trip to the casino. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and taking care of his dog Pepper.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Bonnie of Harvey; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Deborah and Butch Keller, Shelia and Brad Patzer, and Bonny Lynn Faul all of Harvey; four grandchildren, Jennifer Keller, Jorden Keller, Crystal Patzer, and Lacey Patzer; sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Ruben Lindeman of Harvey; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Betty Faul of Minot; sister-in-law, Lillie Olson and her friend Ron Randa of Mandan. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Elizabeth Werth, Irene Almer, and Alma Kunnanz; brothers, Elmer Faul, George Faul, Arnie Faul.
