God received a beautiful angel Pauline Roth, 79, McClusky, ND was called to her heavenly home to receive her wings, Friday April 7th, 2017 at St. Alexius Medical Center of Bismarck.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 12th, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Johns Lutheran Church, McClusky. Burial will be in the McClusky City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday April 11th, 2017 from 4pm to 7pm at Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky.

Pauline Blumhagen was born July 28th, 1937 to William and Kathrine (Lauer) Blumhagen in Turtle Lake, ND.  She attended school in Turtle Lake, she also worked for many local restaurants while living in Turtle Lake. On September 30th, 1956 Pauline married the love of her life Stanley L. Roth in Turtle Lake, ND.  After marriage Pauline and Stanley moved to Bismarck but after 3 years they then decided to buy the farm outside of McClusky and began to farm and raise their 3 children. In 1972 they built their home and moved into McClusky where she remained up until the time of her death. In 1985 they retired from farming. Pauline had also spent several years working for the McClusky Public Schools and Sheridan Memorial Home in McClusky and helping her many friends. Some of her hobbies included going to the casino and playing BINGO with her special friends, puzzles, playing cards especially "Hand and Foot," and listening to the "Polka Party" on Sundays.  Family was always her number one priority and spending as much time with them as she could and helping any way she could. She would help any way and anyone she could.  Pauline had a heart of gold, that was full of love and turned out it was more then her heart could take.

Pauline is survived by her 2 sons: Bradley, Hazelton, ND, Todd Bismarck, ND; Daughter Kathleen (Dennis) Bertsch McClusky, ND; 6 Grandchildren: Josh, April (Mike), Amber (Shannon), Spencer, Jill, and Benjamin; 8 Great-Grandchildren: Dominic, Rachael, Skylar, Stefon, Shawna, Tristan, Addisyn, and Brooklyn; brother: Edwin (Beverly) Blumhagen of Bismarck; sisters-in-law: Ardella, Jerda, Lorraine, Elva, and Darlene; numerous brothers & sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces & nephews.   Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley; brothers, Rueben, Lawrence, Albert, Lloyd and Richard Blumhagen; sister, Ruth Schon.
