Ordean Verner Autio's Obituary
Ordean "Dean" V. Autio, 71, Pickardville, ND died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at his home of natural causes.
No local services are planned. Burial will be in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Ordean V. Autio was born on September 21, 1941 in Ishpeming, Michigan. He was the son of Verner and Ruth (Hiel) Autio. Ordean grew up in Michigan and attended school there. He served in the army. He was once married to Joyce Nettesheim. He lived in Jackson, Wisconsin where he was a salesman in the steel industry and was employed by Castle Metals. He also lived in Florida and Oklahoma before moving to rural residence west of McClusky, ND. Ordean was retired but continued with his hobbies raising and training dogs, hunting and fishing.
Ordean is survived by family members living out of state and several good friends. Memorials are preferred to the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
