Michael Krosbakken, 65, of Harvey died Sunday, September 1, 2019 at his home in Harvey. Funeral services will be held at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Harvey on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Sunday, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Prayer services will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be in the St. Cecilia Catholic Cemetery in Harvey.

Michael Krosbakken was born on November 3, 1953 in Harvey. He was the son of Kolman and Colleen (Murphy) Krosbakken. Mike grew up and attended school in Harvey. He worked for Bentz Implement for 4 years. In 1978 he began working for Susag Sand and Gravel in Harvey where he was a wash plant operator. He retired in 2016. Mike married Doreen Erickson on January 31, 1997. Doreen died on September 19, 2008. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, canning, making pickles and deer sausage and jerky. Mike was a member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church and the Wells Eagles Arie #3080 both of Harvey. Mike is survived by his children Kayla (Terry) Moltzan of Bozeman, Krista (Justin) Schneider of Hamberg, Michelle Krosbakken of Bismarck, Jameson Krosbakken of Harvey; three grandchildren, McKenleigh and Braelynn Ponzer, Jack Moltzan; sisters, Marla Faul of Mountlake Terrace, WA, Kari Schwaderer of Harvey, Julie Krosbakken, Fessenden; brothers, Pat of Naples, Italy, Jerry of Fargo, Daniel of Harvey, Kolman of Fargo; mother-in-law, Alice Erickson of Plentywood, MT; numerous nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doreen; son, Shane; grandson, Koury; sister, Charlet Krosbakken; father-in-law, Dennis Erickson; brother-in-law, DuWayne Erickson.
