Matthew
Teumer
November 12, 1991 – July 8, 2025
Matthew Teumer, 33, of McClusky died Tuesday, July 8, 2025 near McClusky.
Community visitation services will be held at the St. John's Lutheran Church of McClusky on Friday July 11, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Arrangements are with Hertz Funeral Home of McClusky.
Matthew was born on November 12, 1991, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. He was the son of Frank and Barbara (Feeney) Teumer. Matthew grew up in Wisconsin. In 2011 the family moved to McClusky, North Dakota.
Matthew's authentic character showed in his work both in his job working with his father's construction company and at the Parkview Apartments in McClusky.
Matthew will be missed by so many because he touched the hearts of so many people with his infectious smile and genuine love for everyone around him, especially the many nieces, nephews, and siblings who loved his big warm hugs. He was known as a giant teddy bear who wouldn't hurt a fly unless you messed with his sisters. He genuinely cared and had the best hopes and intentions towards others. He loved to be silly, have a good time and laugh. Getting him to laugh big and loud was considered such a joy, and everyone he knew carries many special memories and stories to reflect on.
Matthew is survived by his parents; sisters, Amanda (Mike) Gabbard, Philomena (Tom) Behrens, Clara (Matt) Lisic, and Gabriella; brother, Frankie (Jen) Teumer. Maternal Grandparents, Robert and Helen Feeney, Paternal grandfather, Frank A. Teumer; several aunts and uncles; numerous nieces and nephews. Matthew was preceded in death by his brother, Adam.
