Marvin Ervin Frey, 83, Harvey, ND died Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home, Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church of Harvey on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.

Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery of Harvey.

Marvin was born on September 16, 1936 in Harvey.  He was the son of August and Ella (Fenner) Frey.  Marvin grew up southwest of Harvey and attended rural school and Harvey Public School.  As a young man he farmed with his father.  After his father's death in 1962 he took over the family farming operation.  He retired in 1995 and continued to live on the family farm.  Marvin entered the St. Aloisius Nursing Home on December 14, 2010.

Marvin was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church and the Harvey Kiwanis Club.  Marvin's hobbies included cars especially a 1963 Chevy 2 door hardtop Impala that had loud pipes.  Marvin also enjoyed swimming at Coal Mine Lake when he was younger and have coffee with his friends as his got older.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents.
