Marvin Andy Dales, 69, Harvey, ND died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey.   Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.

Marvin was born on June 25, 1949 in Harvey, ND.  He was the son of William and Loreen (Pepple) Kolschefski.  He grew up on the family farm south of Drake, ND and helped out on the family farm until 1995.  In addition to farming, Marvin was also a truck driver.  He later moved to Harvey. Marvin began driving the fuel truck and filled Canadian Pacific locomotives for Buechler Oil in Harvey in 2007.  He retired on December 31, 2014.  Marvin enjoyed visiting with friends and making new ones.  He also enjoyed nature and drives in the country.

Marvin is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Marlene and Ben Gange; niece Pam Gange-Bernard and her husband Casey Bernard; two great nieces, Tayla and Karley all of Mandan, ND.  Marvin was preceded in death by his parents.
