Marlene Moser, 76 of Harvey formerly of Bismarck and Medina died Tuesday September 23, 2014 at the St. Aloisius Hospital of Harvey. Funeral services will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Thursday October 2, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Friends may sign the register book one hour prior to service time.

Marlene was born on March 18, 1938 in Medina. She was the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (Reule) Schauer. Marlene grew up in Medina where her father had a John Deere Implement Dealership. Marlene graduated from Medina High School in 1956. She married Edward Moser in 1956 in Medina. They lived and farmed near Medina and then Woodworth North Dakota. They later divorced. Marlene lived in Medina and later moved to Bismarck. Marlene moved to Harvey and entered the St. Aloisius Nursing Home of Harvey in 2011 where she enjoyed the time with her nursing home family.

Marlene served as a 4H leader in Woodworth for many years.

Marlene loved reading, crossword puzzles, Gardening, lady bugs and spending time at the Missouri River.

Marlene is survived by her five daughters, Jeanne (Dean) Hellesvig of Maddock, Vicki (Clarence) Glatt of Bismarck, Penny (Dennis) Maw of Tappen, ND, Marcy Koenig of Bismarck, Nikki (Dwayne) Klein of Maddock; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Eddie Schauer of Texas. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents.
