Marjorie Katherine (Toews) Reimche was born to JJ and Marie (Friesen) Toews on October 4, 1921 in Lustre, Montana. She received her public education at Lustre, Montana and later went to Lustre Bible School for two years, Bethany Bible College at Hepburn, Saskatchewan for two years and St. Paul Bible College for three years. Margie's parents read the Scripture to them every morning and evening. At the age of 13, she realized that she needed to let Jesus into her heart after seeing the death of her grandmother. She was baptized in a cow pond at the age of 15 and joined the Mennonite Brethren Church at Lustre, Montana.
Marjorie married Clifford Reimche on October 25, 1947 at Lustre, Montana. They made their home south of Martin where they farmed together for 56 years. Clifford passed away on September 5, 2003 and she later moved to an apartment in Harvey, then to the Senior Assistant living and until her death at The St. Aloisius Nursing Home.
She was an active member of the Harvey Mennonite Brethren Church where she taught Sunday School until the age of 84. She felt that someone younger needed to step in and take over. She spent many days and hours getting together with the ladies of the church to sew and tie quilts as well as the many quilts that she made at home. She was a very faithful prayer warrior for God and you could always count her to say a special prayer for anyone that might have needed it. Margie and Clifford were members of the Gideons and they spent many countless hours delivery bible to schools, motels, etc. She was a member of the Harvey Mennonite Church until her death.
Marjorie is survived by one daughter, Judy (Leo) Baggett of Kerrville, TX, three sisters-in-law; Lillian Toews, Dolly Reimche and Alice Martin.
