Marjorie Raitshleger, 85 of Harvey died Tuesday April 6, 2010 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home, Harvey. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday April 8, 2010 at Bethel Baptist Church, Harvey.

Visitation will be at the Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday April 7, 2010. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey.

Marjorie was born on May 20, 1924 near Makoti, ND. She was the daughter of George and Mary (Perry) McHattie. As a young child she grew up and attended school in Makoti. Marjorie married Lester Clark in 1941. They moved to Harvey in 1956. They later divorced. Marjorie married Wencel Raitshleger in 1966 at Harvey. Wencel died on March 5, 1980. Marjorie worked as a nurse in New Rockford, Rugby and Harvey. She waited until she was 50 years old to graduate from nursing school from Wapheton State College in 1974. This was a dream come true for her. Marjorie retired from nursing in 1992. Marjorie was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Harvey. Marjorie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, George and Diane Clark of Fargo; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karyl and Michael O'Leary of Mesa, AZ, Judi Current and Ron Zaretzke of Mesa, AZ; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wencel; grandson, Kenneth Knecht.
