Marjie Faul, 85, Harvey, ND died Monday, January 13, 2025, in a Mandan nursing home.  Funeral services will be at the Hertz Funeral Home on Friday, January 17 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service and burial will be in the spring in Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.

Marjie Mae Walcker was born on December 27, 1939, in Turtle Lake, ND.  She was the daughter of August and Elsie (Wagner) Walcker.  She grew up on the family farm near Turtle Lake and attended country school.  Marjie and her sister Shirley began waitressing at the City Café in McClusky managed by Wilbert Buchmiller.  Marjie and Shirley moved to Harvey in 1962 and worked at the Harvey Café until it's closing in 1989. Marjie married Fred "Fritz" Faul on April 29, 1965 in Fessenden, ND.  They resided in Harvey.   Marjie continued her food service career working as cook at the Harvey Senior Center.  She moved to the Good Samaritan Center, Mandan in 2021.

Marjie was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Harvey.

Marjie is survived by siblings Eugene Walcker of Bismarck; June (Steve) Clemments, Marshfield, Wisconsin, Dennis (Geraldine) Walcker of Kingman, AZ; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Alice) Faul of Harvey and Gary Faul of Newkirk, OK; sisters-in-law Linda Faul of Harvey, Helen Faul of Minot and numerous nephews and nieces.

Marjie was preceded in death her parents; husband on May 4, 1995, sons Keith on December 29, 1995 and Scott on September 14, 2021; sister, Shirley Buchmiller; brothers-in law, Wilbert Buchmiller, Raymond, Clifford, Alvin Art, Elmer, William and Kenneth Faul; sisters-in-law, Donna Faul, Karen Faul, Vernice Faul, Rosene Faul, and Michele Walcker.
