Marcella Marie Kuhn, 83, Bismarck formerly of Harvey, ND died Friday, August 28, 2020 at the St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck.

The funeral mass will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2 at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey.  Visitation will precede the service beginning at 12:30 p.m. with a Rosary recitation at 1 p.m. also on Wednesday at the church.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Marcella was born September 3, 1936 in Stark County, ND to Valentine and Barbara (Bosch) Reiter.  She grew up in Killdeer and graduated from high school there.  On June 15, 1954, Marcella married Leo Kuhn the love of her life. They moved to Halliday where they farmed. They moved to Harvey in 1966 and she stayed at home to raise their six children.

Marcella worked as an administrative assistant alongside her husband at Kuhn Manufacturing. Leo passed away on September 10, 1979. Marcella enjoyed her time with family, hosting holiday meals, going to grandchildren's events, and weekly shopping trips traveling to Minot. She attended many concerts with her children and grandchildren.  She remained in her home in Harvey until 2014. She then resided at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care until her passing.

Marcella will be missed and always loved by her six children, Brenda Tepler of Minot, Debra (Doug) Striefel of Bismarck, Leo Jr. (Shirlee) Kuhn of Harvey, Bryon (Janet Provorse) Kuhn of Park City, Kansas, Pam (Todd) Lewis of Mandan, Dean, (Michelle) Kuhn of Bismarck; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Valentine Jr. of Rio Rancho, NM, Jim of San Diego, CA and Larry of Grand Ronde, Oregon.  Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leo, and her sister Lucille Phoreman.
