Louise Marie Rademacher, 83, Harvey, ND died on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home, Harvey, ND. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND.

Louise was born on November 3, 1941, in Harvey, ND. She was the daughter of Sigmond and Monica (Volk) Thomas.  She grew up in Harvey and attended St. Cecilia Catholic School.  Then she provided childcare to families for several years.

Louise married Gerald Rademacher on June 20, 1961, in Harvey.  They were blessed with two children, Roger and Kathy.  In 1962 they purchased a farm south of Harvey. Their children grew up there.  Louise helped on the farm raking hay, helping milk cows and driving truck during the harvest.  They spent their retirement years on the farm before entering the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey.  Louise loved to bake, enjoyed gardening and working in her flower beds.

Louise was a member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church and the Hillside Homemakers Club.

Louise is survived by her son Roger (Julie) Rademacher of Harvey and daughter Kathleen (Scott) Ulmer of Valley City, ND; brother, David Thomas of Harvey.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Gerald on March 20, 2023.

Arrangements are with Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey.
