Lola Mattheis, 95, Harvey, ND died Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey.  Arrangements with Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 15 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Harvey.  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.

Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.

Lola was born on April 13, 1929 on the family farm north of Harvey to August and Caroline (Horst) Mattheis.  She grew up on the family farm and attended grade school at the Sheyenne River Seventh-day Adventist Academy and graduated from high school there. She lived on the family farm where she cared for her parents and assisted her brothers in the farming operations.  Lola moved into Harvey in 1990.  She was a Green Thumb employee at the Lone Tree Special Education Unit in Harvey.  She was a life long member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Lola is survived by nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, William, August and Joel; two sisters, Ann Dailey and Ellen Harder.
