Linda S. Ruble, 74, Harvey, ND formerly of Fessenden died Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church of Harvey.

Interment will be in V.A. National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona.

Linda was born on July 7, 1948 in Harvey.  She was the daughter of Sidney and Fern (Severson) Gunderson.  Linda grew up and attended school in Fessenden and graduated from Fessenden High School in 1966.  Following high school, Linda attended college in Wahpeton, ND for two years.  She then moved to Minneapolis for a time.  Linda moved to the Philippines where she worked in the banking industry.  She then returned to the United States and lived in Arizona.  Linda married Joseph Ruble Jr. in 1979.  Joseph died on May 21, 2014.  Linda moved back to Fessenden in 2016 and then to Harvey in 2019.

Linda was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Harvey and a former member of the First Lutheran Church in Fessenden.

Linda loved animals, especially her rescued dogs; cooking and tasting new foods, and reading a good book.

Linda is survived by her brother, Ron (Mona) Gunderson of Fessenden; nephew, Gary (Tammy) Gunderson, niece, Lindsay (Chris) Johnson.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
