Linda Lamm, 97 of Harvey died Sunday January 9, 2022 at the St. Aloisius Hospital of Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at the First Lutheran Church of Harvey on Friday January 14, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be on Thursday January 13, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery.

Linda was born on May 21, 1924 on the family farm southwest of Harvey. She was the daughter of Rudolph and Mary (Schimke) Liebelt. Linda grew up on the family farm and attended school near there. Linda married Carl Lamm on January 2, 1949 in Harvey. They lived in Harvey where Carl worked for the railroad and ran a septic business. Linda was the heart and sole behind the septic business as the bookkeeper .

Linda was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Harvey. Linda enjoyed word puzzles, casino trips, watching soap operas, Wheel of Fortune, and gardening. Linda was a seamstress and she made many articles of clothing for many of the neighborhood kids. Linda's appearance was always especially important to her. She also felt attending family weddings and reunions were also important.

Linda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie and Jerry Maxwell of Roseau, MN, son, Curt Lamm of Harvey; 4 grandchildren; Wrin Maxwell, Erica Maxwell, Cole Maxwell, and Alicia Lamm , 4 great-grandchildren; Owyn Maxwell, Jaylie Maxwell, Annaya Maxwell, Leeiam Maxwell, sisters, Eileen Haugen, Verna Martin, Ardella Kensok; brother, LeRoy Liebelt.  Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; son, Douglas; granddaughter, Carlie Maxwell, sisters, Edna Feickert Ebach, Hertha Alexander; brothers, Raymond, Wilbert, Arnold, Helmuth, Marvin and Vernon.
