Leona Brower, 91 of Harvey, ND passed way Saturday December 11, 2021 surrounded by her family at a Fargo Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church of Harvey on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.  Burial will be in the spring at Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.

Leona Ann was born April 27, 1930 to Loren and Anna (Stenehjem) Pellett in Watford City, ND. They also lived in Camas Washington, Arnegard, and Anamoose ND where Leona graduated from Anamoose High School in 1948.

She married Robert Brower on Sept. 11, 1949. They lived on the family farm south of Martin. They adopted 2 children, Gregory Allen and LeAnn Renee and continued farming until retirement in 1982. They moved to Harvey where Leona was very involved with the sport of bowling. She and Bob ran the bowling lanes for many years, taught youth bowling, kept bowling stats and Leona held many local, state and national bowling offices. She enjoyed sports of every kind, either participating or watching on TV with football and baseball being her favorites.

Leona was preceeded in death by her husband, Bob, son Gregory, parents, in-laws, her sister Bonnie Heisler and brother Loren Ove Pellett.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, LeAnn and Tom Dick, granddaughter Alison (Dusty) Beutler, grandson, Mitchell (Rebecca Knudtson) Dick, great grandchildren, Tucker, Bobbi Jo and Shelby Beutler, all of Fargo ND, sisters, Ione Lang, Cherraine Weltz; sister-in-law, Jan Pellett; cousins and many nieces, nephews and friends.
