Laurie Wiedmeier, 60 of Harvey died Friday June 10, 2022 at the St. Aloisius Hospital of Harvey.  Funeral services will be held at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Harvey on Wednesday June 15, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.  Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Tuesday June 14 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Selz, North Dakota.

Laurie was born on November 3, 1961 in Harvey.  She was the daughter of Vincent and Adeline (Muscha) Weinmann.  Laurie grew up the family farm southwest of Harvey with her four brothers.  Laurie and her parents moved into Harvey in 1975.  She attended Harvey Public School and graduated from high school in 1980.  Laurie married Tom Wiedmeier on July 5, 1980 and they had two sons, Eric and Shane.  They lived in Harvey, Selz, and then moved to Tom's family farm northeast of Harvey.  She worked many years for KHND Radio and the City of Harvey.  She also delivered mail, was a bartender, a flagger on road construction and lastly a DSP for Hav-it Services in Harvey.  Laurie enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and sitting by a bonfire.  She loved music, especially the oldies, and dancing with her friends.  She liked to read books, do word finds and put puzzles together.  She always was thankful for her one trip to Deadwood, South Dakota with her sons and granddaughters.

Laurie is survived by her husband, Tom of Harvey, sons, Eric (Claudia) Wiedmeier and Shane Wiedmeier both of Selz; brothers, Dennis Weinmann, Harvey, Curtis Weinmann (Marydean) Weinmann, New Rockford, Gary (Carol) Weinmann, Harvey; grandchildren, Halle, Zada, Aiden, and Tajah Wiedmeier; step-grandchildren, Chris and Clara Widvey, Lucas and Maggie Raue, step-greatgrandchildren, Kaden and Asher Kurtz, special friend, Gaylene Schindler; many nieces and nephews.

Laurie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ron Weinmann.
