Nida L. Lasher, 89, McClusky, ND died Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Sheridan Memorial Home in McClusky, ND.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Assembly of God Church, McClusky, ND.

Visitation will be Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky.

Burial will be in the McClusky City Cemetery.

Nida was born on March 9, 1924 on the family farm north of McClusky to Earl and Ada (Blanchard) Sease. She attended the Kensmoe country school. Nida and Glen Lasher were united in marriage on October 27, 1944 in Turtle Lake, ND. They lived and farmed northwest of McClusky where they raised their three children, Vernon, Kenneth and Nancy. Glen died on October 27, 1968. Nida lived with her son, Kenneth on the family farm after Glen's death and moved into McClusky in 1970. She has resided there ever since, entering the Sheridan Memorial Home in April 2013.

Nida's hobbies included embroidering, quilting, playing piano and Senior Center Activities.

Nida was a member of the Assembly of God Church in McClusky where she served as a Sunday School Treasurer for many years and enjoyed Ladies Bible Study.

Nida is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Darlene, Vernon and Joan all of McClusky; four grandchildren, Darcie (Chad) Kline, Lisa (Kirby) Evanger, Sheila (Joe) Bitz and Amanda (Mark) Torres; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph (Lois) Sease of McClusky, Raymond (Mae) Sease of Bismarck and Lowell Sease of Mandan; one sister, Shirley (Elmer) Fandrich of Bismarck, ND.

Nida was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen, daughter, Nancy Edinger; sister, Irene Krueger, great grandson, Hunter Wahl, and sister-in-law, Cleaice Sease.
