Larry A. Goldade, 61, of Selz, ND died Monday, October 11, 2021 at CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 16 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Harvey with interment following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church.

Larry was born on March 24, 1960 in Harvey to Joe and Esther (Bachmeier) Goldade.  The family lived on a farm southeast of Selz for several years before moving into Harvey.  Larry graduated from the Harvey High School in 1979.  He began working as a laborer for area farmers and eventually began farming with his father.  Larry was a floor installer in the Harvey area and a meat cutter in New Rockford, ND.  In 2007 he was seriously injured in an automobile accident and could no longer work.

His hobbies included bowling, fishing and hunting.  He loved his nephews and visiting with his friends.  His cat "Sassy" along with other animals he observed helped him pass time.

Larry is survived by his father, Joe of Harvey; sister Laurie (Jerry) Frueh of Gering, NE; nephews and their families, Josh (Hopie) and Josiah; Jeremy (Yolanda) and Jensen and Jerren; cousins.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Esther in 2020 and close friends Ricky Solin and Lucy.
