Kirk Stafford, 54 of Bismarck died Friday, October 25, 2019 at his home in Bismarck.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.

Kirk was born on March 28, 1965 in Harvey.  He was the son of Norman (Dutch) Stafford and DyAnn (Schimke) Ingebretson.  Kirk grew up and attended school in Harvey and graduated from Harvey High School in 1983.  While in high school Kirk played football and wrestled.  Kirk attended NDSU in Fargo and graduated with a bachelor's degree.   He then went to work for Red Lobster in Fargo and at a location in Florida.  He moved to Minneapolis and worked for the Holiday Inn as their food and beverage director.  He also lived in Jamestown where he worked for Grizzly's Restaurant and more recently in Bismarck where he was currently working at Five Guys Burgers.  Kirk enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings, playing cards, and cooking.

Kirk is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Mae Maeder-Stafford of Bismarck, mother, DyAnn Ingebretson of Fargo; brother, Kevin Stafford of Anamoose.  He was preceded in death by his father Norman "Dutch" Stafford.  Share online at www.hertzfuneralhomes.com
