Katherine Kline 82 of Harvey died Saturday February 27, 2010 at the St. Aloisius Hospital of Harvey. Funeral services will be held at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Selz on Thursday March 4, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Prayer services will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey at 7:00 pm. Burial will be held at the church cemetery.

Katherine was born on July 17, 1927 on the family farm near Selz. She was the daughter of Joseph P. and Magdalena (Vetter) Goldade. She grew up and attended school near Selz. As a young woman Katherine worked at Kirton's Café in Harvey and also worked at the St. Aloisius Hospital Nursery Department. Katherine married Adam Kline on October 6, 1947 in Selz. They lived in Aylmer, ND for a time. They then moved to Selz in 1950 where Adam worked for the railroad. They lived in Selz until moving to Harvey in 1999. While living in Selz Katherine worked at the Selz post office and Harvey Eagles Club for many years. Katherine was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church and it's Altar Society, Christian Mothers of America and VFW Auxiliary of Harvey. Katherine enjoyed playing bingo, pinochle, bowling and an occasional trip to the Casino.

Katherine is survived by her husband, Adam of Harvey; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Kenneth Frey of Harvey, Sandra and Barry Lucas of Harvey; two sons, Barry Kline of Minot and Brad Kline and fiancé Denise Feist of Harvey; grandchildren, Shannon (Jeremy) Harms, Brent and (Angela) Lucas, Karissa and (Chad) Krueger, Matthew Kline, Eathan Kline, Jenae Kline, Kaitlyn Kline; great-grandchildren, Addison and Avery Harms, Kalen and Ava Lucas; brothers, Raymond of Minot, Joseph of Velva, Vincent of Grand Forks, Larry of Grandin; sisters, Marie Heil of Harvey, Barbara Martin of Anamoose; Katherine was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Rodney; brothers, Jackie, William, James, Rochus, Daniel, Peter; sister, Lena Farstad.
