Karon Goldade, 75, Fargo formerly of Harvey, ND entered her eternal rest on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at the Essentia Hospital in Fargo after fighting a courageous battle against cancer since being diagnosed in 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17 at First Lutheran Church, Harvey, ND. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Friday August 16 at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery.

Karon was born on February 3, 1944 in Harvey, ND. She was the daughter of Bennie and Christina (Mock) Arndt. Karon grew up in the Kief and Balfour area and graduated from the Balfour High School in 1962. Karon married Roger Demchuk in 1966 in Anamoose, ND. They farmed near Kief and moved to Harvey in 1975. Roger passed away in 1980. Karon later married James Goldade in December 1987 and he passed away in January 1989. Through the years Karon worked at several laundry and steam cleaning businesses. In her younger years she loved to play softball and participated in the Minot Recreational Commission league. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church and the Wells Eagles Auxiliary both of Harvey.

Karon is survived by two daughters, Tammy Demchuk of Fargo; Kim (Brad) Thompson of Wausau, WI; grandson Connor Thompson; two sisters, Marlyn Bruner of Lyndon, WA and Lavon Ostby of Ridgecrest, CA.

Karon was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Roger and James; brother, Charles; sisters, Loraine Geiger and Linda Krum.
