June C. Lemer, 57, of Harvey, died on May 29, 2017 at her home in Harvey of natural causes.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey, ND with graveside services at 1:30 p.m. in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery, Anamoose, ND.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND. Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

June was born on June 1, 1959 in Harvey, ND. She was the daughter of Henry L. and Pauline (Martin) Lemer. June grew up on the family farm north of Anamoose, ND. She graduated from a special education program in Fessenden and then lived in area group homes. She lived in her own apartment in Harvey for many years and received support from HAV-IT Services in Harvey. She enjoyed shredding paper and making ceramics. Everybody knew her by name and June remembered theirs. June loved to dance and would also sing along to favorite songs.

June was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas in Harvey. She was a former member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Anamoose.

June is survived by three sisters, Fran Lageson of Anamoose, Eileen Bjorland of Harvey, Diane Lemer of Bismarck; four brothers, Eugene (Phyllis) Lemer of Valley City, James Lemer, Clarence Lemer and Allen Lemer all of Anamoose; numerous nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Willie Lageson.
